We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Application includes:
- Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your username and email address, that you voluntarily give to us when you register with the Application.
- Tarot Reading Data: When you perform a reading, we collect the question you ask, the cards that are drawn, and the AI-generated guidance you receive. For users with an active subscription, this information is saved to your account history.
- Analytics Data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect information about your use of the Application, such as features used and actions taken (e.g., starting a reading, generating guidance). This data is anonymized and aggregated to help us improve the user experience.
Having accurate information permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Application to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Provide the core service of tarot card readings and AI-generated guidance.
- Save your reading history to your profile (for subscribed users).
- Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the Application.
- Personalize and improve the Application and our AI models.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. However, we may share information we have collected about you in certain situations:
- Third-Party Service Providers: We use Google Firebase for authentication, database (Firestore), and analytics services. We also use Google's Generative AI (via Genkit) to provide the "Mystic Guidance" feature. Your reading data (question and card spread) is sent to this service to generate the interpretation.
- By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law.
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
You may at any time review or change the information in your account or terminate your account by visiting your profile page. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases.
